Steven Hooper, PE, RA

Bringing over four decades of experience and leadership in engineering, architecture, and project management to Rigsbee Engineering, Steven assumed the role of Principal Engineer in 2023, with the task of overseeing larger and more intricate projects. His extensive background in the public sector encompasses electrical systems evaluation, planning, design, and adept project management.

 

Before joining Rigsbee Engineering, Steven led teams at Owen Group Inc and subsequently at Bureau Veritas North America, where he made significant contributions to numerous public sector endeavors. Notable past projects include code consulting and assessments for the California Prison Receivership Healthcare Program Department of General Services, CSU Fresno, Naval Air Station Lemoore, and multiple Caltrans facilities.

 

Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and fishing.
